Marco Schuitmaker

Marco Schuitmaker has been singing since childhood. His first single, “Niemand kust als jij”, came out in 2017, followed by his first album, “Mijn droom”, in 2018.

His big breakthrough came in early 2023 with “Engelbewaarder”, his new recording of a song Pierre Kartner wrote for the singer Mieke in 1976. It spread quickly on TikTok and spent seven weeks at number 1 on the Dutch singles chart.

At the 2023 Buma Awards, “Engelbewaarder” was named the most successful single, and in 2024 Marco received an Edison, the well-known Dutch music award. In November 2024 he gave his own concert at the GelreDome in Arnhem.

He sings the Dutch “levenslied”: songs about love and life that everyone can sing along to. In 2025 he recorded “Schutzengel” with Florian Silbereisen, the German version of “Engelbewaarder”.

Sunrise

From South Tyrol

Sunrise

Sunrise are Arno Adler and Florian Wieser, two friends from the Eisack Valley in South Tyrol, Italy, who have known each other since their youth.

It all began with making music together in a cellar. After a year of rehearsals came their first show, in a disco, and since 2010 they have performed regularly as a duo, first in South Tyrol and soon in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well.

With producer Stefan Pössnicker they made the 2016 album “Irgendwann vielleicht”, which took them onto the big Schlager stages. Since then they have played the Kastelruther Spatzenfest and the Amigos-Fest, among others, and in 2023 they opened for Andrea Berg on her open-air tour.

They sing German-language Schlager, from romantic ballads to cheerful dance songs, and their home region is never far away, as in “Die Rose von Südtirol”.

Well-known songs

  • Die Sterne schweigen uns an (2014)The new recording that began their work with Stefan Pössnicker
  • Schachmatt (2019)From the album “Jetzt und für immer”
  • Die Rose von Südtirol (2025)New version on the album “Verrückt, verliebt, verdammt”
Daniela Alfinito

From Hesse, Germany

Daniela Alfinito

Daniela Alfinito was born in 1971 in Villingen, in the German state of Hesse, today part of the town of Hungen. Music runs in the family: her father is Bernd Ulrich of the Amigos.

She was on stage as a child. From 2000 she sang at the Amigos’ concerts, and her first album of her own came out in 2003.

Daniela trained as a geriatric nurse and stayed in her profession even after her first big successes.

Many people know her from “Bahnhof der Sehnsucht” and “Dann zieh ich meine Blue Jeans an”. In Austria, six of her albums have reached number 1 on the official album chart, most recently “Wer liebt gewinnt” in January 2026.

Helmut Hussler

From Styria, Austria

Helmut Hussler

Helmut Hussler has been on stage for decades. He got his first guitar at 14 and founded his first band at 16.

In 1981 he was one of the founders of the dance band “Happy Sound” in Graz, where for more than 30 years he was singer and keyboard player, performing Schlager, evergreens and folk music.

Today he performs as a solo singer. He had already written his first solo single, “Ab heute bist du frei” (2024), back in 1990. His first album, “Jetzt oder nie”, came out in 2025, and the second, “Warum nicht ich …”, in 2026.

He knows Gran Canaria well: he has already sung for several weeks at the Tiroler Stadl on the island. Because of the way he performs, he is also called “the gentleman of Schlager”.

  • Ab heute bist du frei (2024)His first solo single, written in 1990
  • Die heiße Nacht auf Gran Canaria (2025)From the album “Jetzt oder nie”

From Vienna

Stefan Eigner

Stefan Eigner comes from Vienna. He gained his first stage experience as a boy with the Vienna Boys’ Choir.

In May 2022 he won “Starmania 22”, the talent show on Austrian public television ORF. The result was decided by the viewers’ votes alone.

In the final he sang “Es End is no fern”, a song he wrote himself in Austrian dialect, which was released as a single shortly afterwards.

Since then he has released his own songs with Sony Music, which he co-writes, among them “Loss di foin” and “Memory” (both 2024). His music is rooted in Austropop.

At the Schlager Open Air Maspalomas he will also surprise the audience with songs by Karel Gott.
